Home Magazine once again asked us if they could feature another one of our interior design projects in their April 2016 issue. What makes this home extra special and personal is that our client, Michelle, happens to be Rose’s sister!

Vibrant, Quirky & Uncluttered in this Colourful Home

It was such fun working with Michelle. Since we know her so well it was that much easier to put together the perfect interior proposal for her home that catered to her tastes. Michelle wanted a bright and happy, quirky and colourful home with just the slightest hint of glamour. The article also appeared in Home’s Afrikaans counterpart, Tuis Tydskrif.

Michelle wanted an interior space that expressed her creativity.

Design Monarchy selected sleek, contemporary furniture with a slight Mid-century Modern twist. We also sourced beautiful, bold, big floral fabric; funky wallpaper and fun paint colours to splash all around this colourful home. The resulting interior is so happy and vibrant.

Rose adds: “Michelle now has her own sanctuary. It’s peaceful and contemporary, and grown-up but not too serious. It’s also playful with just enough colour to entertain the senses.
