Well-known Irish property developers, O’Reilly & Associates appointed us as interior designers of their new upmarket hotel in Limerick – the Absolute Hotel. The brief called for the Absolute Hotel interiors to be designed and furnished in a “Manhattan Loft” style, integrated with certain chic industrial elements.

Because the Irish embrace spaces that are warm and hearty, we worked with warm colours & textures to add further depth.

Most noteworthy, all FF&E products for public areas were sourced, procured and manufactured in SA and then shipped across to Ireland. Consequently, we installed big-ticket items such as bars with our own team.

As “foreign” designers, we were able to differentiate our interior style from that of other local designers, giving the interior design a unique edge.

The Manhattan-style reception lounge with its gorgeous brick wall featured a beautiful mural of a historical Limerick.

Playful glass tiles introduced some colour into the cocktail bar front.

We also designed floor to ceiling stainless steel wine racks in the restaurant area that not only served as beautiful wine bottle display but also doubled as privacy screens.
